I had a big deadline last night that I’m happy to say I met, so after a few nights of burning the midnight oil for this project, it was a comfy pants/uniform kind of day. A white shirt. Black pants. Neutral shoes. As long as I have that, I always have something to wear.
Outfit details: Tradlands Elms Shirt (gifted), Everlane Stretch Ponte Crop Pant (mine are secondhand but they are available in Everlane’s Choose What You Pay Section right now), Nisolo Mariella Mules
In other news, I had a disappointing mail day today when the pair of shorts that I ordered from Poshmark ended up being way, way too small. I thought I’d found a real gem when I came across a pair of Reformation repurposed vintage Wrangler jean cutoffs, but I made the crucial mistake of ordering based on the numbered size and not asking the seller for the measurements before making my offer.
Here they are, in all their absurdly tiny beauty:
I’ve never had to “re-Posh” anything before, but these went back up for sale about twenty minutes after I opened the package. Sigh.
If you’re interested in them and you have a smaller butt than me, they’re up in my Poshmark closet right now (@rkalan). Measurements are listed.
Before I bought these, I had been seriously considering the new Cheeky Denim Short from Everlane, so I may still give those a try (and at least I can check the measurements online!).
That’s all for today, friends. I’ve got an episode of the Bachelorette to catch up on!

I’ve typed “can you please share the waist measurement?” probably 1,367 times. And when the measurements are just a little too small… Don’t be fooled into thinking it will fit! It never fits!
