I’m Renée. Since 2017, I’ve been changing my wardrobe habits to reflect a more mindful, intentional, and ethical approach to getting dressed. From capsule wardrobes to elaborate spreadsheets, quitting fast-fashion and practicing conscious consumerism, I’m recording my journey and sharing my insights with you in hopes of finding contentment with my closet and helping you make peace with yours.
I’m a young professional living in Washington, DC with my spouse and our two furry animals. When I’m not working or blogging, I can usually be found reading romance novels, rock climbing, or singing YouTube karaoke at my pets. I really like prehistoric deep sea creatures.
Here’s what you can expect to find on this blog:
- A lot of mirror selfies, reflections on my personal relationship with getting dressed, and critical examinations of current trends in the fashion industry
- Advice for shopping ethically and learning to love what you already own
- Very scientific wardrobe experiments
I also contribute articles to The Minimalist Wardrobe. You can find my author page and articles I’ve written here.
